So I am going pretty strong with these sketches. Once I got bitten by the April Pagemaps, I was just waiting to work with the May Pagemaps. They have a wonderful contest going based on a sketch that is very different from my current style. Its more boxy with straight lines but I was drawn to this idea of heaviness on the top (pictures and darker patterned paper) as compared to more white space on the bottom.
This layout came together fairly quickly once I decided on using my butterfly stamps to create my own patterned paper and make it the focus of the bottom half of the layout. I used a total of 8 different butterfly stamps.
Title: Bloom. Cardstock: Core’dinations-(Sugar n Spice, Worn Lipstick), Bazzill (Yellow), (Neenah (classic crest natural white). Patterned Paper: Crate Paper-Maggie Holmes Signature (Dreamy, Elizabeth Kate, Accents and Borders).
